The Northern Refugee Centre provides advice and assistance to refugees, asylum seekers and new migrants in Sheffield. Services include:

- Advice and information on refugee issues for the general public
Advice can be given on welfare benefits, housing, employment and training, education and accessing health services, as well as specialist 'women friendly' drop-ins and home visits if required. NRC does not do asylum casework or asylum appeals.
