This study examines the factors which influence the successful dispersal of asylum seekers, as judged by the number of  reported incidents of verbal and racial harassment and physical assault.  The study examines factors such as the characteristics of dispersal areas; aspects of dispersal processes; information needs of asylum seekers and stakeholders; and standards and service levels for provision of accommodation and support services for asylum seekers.
