This presentation explored the impact of rurality on minority ethnic people?s housing experiences, considering how low numbers and spatial distribution make black and minority ethnic people feel isolated and invisible to services. It highlighted a number of issues to be addressed including low income, high rents, Housing types and issues, Overcrowding, limited access to services, poor understanding from landlords towards black and minority ethnic issues and concerns, and the impact of clustering for work by migrants upon housing demand.
